2. Fourth of July Patriotic Show – July 4, 2015
Even more fun for the music lovers, enjoy FREE live music near one of the free beaches in New Jersey for the entire family at Centennial Park, Fern Road & Ocean Avenue in Wildwood Crest, featuring a Broadway patriotic show by the Manhattan Dolls. 3. Sidewalk Chalk Competition – July 4, 2015 9:00am Wildwood, Cape May County
All ages are welcome to take part in the annual sidewalk chalk competition held at the Bill Henfey Park, 8th & Central Avenues, in North Wildwood. Registration is free, and you even have the chance to win awards! (dates needed here too)

5. Wildwoods International Kite Festival – 05/22/2015 – 05/25/2015
Take your Wildwood NJ vacation to new heights at the largest kite festival in North America on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue in Wildwood and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Discover kite makers from around the world flying their most incredible colorful creations. The event includes the opening of the Festival Field Tent and the nighttime illuminated kite fly at Rio Grande Avenue and the beach. Saturday and Sunday mornings feature the East Coast Stunt Kite Championships on the beach, as well as kite exhibits and workshops. Monday will feature the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Convention Center where kite fliers showcase their amazing ability to fly kites without wind. Best of all, it’s all FREE to spectators!

6. Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Maritime Festival – 06/20/2015 – 06/21/2015
If you’d like to get historic with your free things to do in Wildwood NJ, check out this outdoor festival on the grounds of the historic Hereford Inlet Lighthouse and along Central Avenue. This celebration of New Jersey’s rich maritime history features historians, authors, artists and crafters joining together for a weekend-long feast for the eyes and mind!
