Sunken Ship, Sunset Beach

Built by the Liberty Ship Building Company in Brunswick, Georgia, the S. S. Atlantus is one of the most famous concrete ships. After a storm hit, the ship broke free of its moorings, running aground 150 feet off the coast of Sunset Beach. Although there were many attempts to free the ship, none was successful, and the S.S. Atlantus has become a much-loved tourist attraction.

Cape May Lighthouse

A trip to this working lighthouse is a must for any Wildwood NJ vacation. Built in 1859, the lighthouse was automated in 1946, and is fully operational to this day.

Cape May County Zoo

The Washington Street Mall

Take a short drive to this three-block pedestrian concourse that was built in 1972 and transformed in 2008. The Mall features small, independent shops that are multigenerational and family-owned.
